How It Works
What to Expect
7D Manufacturing is a precision CNC Dallas machine shop. What does a precision CNC Dallas machine shop look and operate like? That is a great question.
First, a precision CNC Dallas machine shop needs to have excellent customer service. Excellent customer service goes beyond simply answering the phone when it rings or returning an email, taking an order, delivering, and being paid. Excellent customer service requires taking ownership to create the best possible experience for those being served from a warm welcome, prompt communication, top notch quality, on-time delivery to service after the sale to foster a lasting relationship. It also includes having empathy for our customers, cheering them on when times are good and being an encouraging voice when difficulty or tragedy strikes.
Second, a precision CNC Dallas machine shop needs to offer an excellent quality product. The quality of any Dallas machine shop will be seen in the look and feel of the products produced. We believe the quality is more than meeting the blueprint specifications for a customer, our both meets and/or exceeds expectations dimensionally and cosmetically. Taking pride in the cleanliness of our facility and the cosmetical look of a customer’s part is a main ingredient of our success in a highly competitive environment as a Dallas machine shop.
As a Dallas machine shop, we offer precision CNC turning, CNC milling, CNC plasma cutting, welding, assembly and reverse engineering. We have the capability of taking your idea from concept to conception, from prototype to production. Have an idea hastily drawn on a napkin with a sharpie then let our trained team help you bring that idea to life with our state-of-the-art CAD/CAM services (Send your request to rfq@7dmanufacturing.com). Our software gives you the feel of holding what was once an idea in your head to holding it in your hand, making the necessary modifications before investing in a prototype or production run. The animated designs can be shared with your customers to spark excitement and interest, helping to streamline the sales and support process.
Do you have a dream that has been burning in you to create? Maybe you have a challenging problem that needs a creative solution or simply a product that is taking much too long to procure. It’s okay if you only have a concept drawn on a napkin in smudged ink, we will ask the questions to help fill in the blanks. Engage our team by reaching out to: rfq@7dmanufacturing.com.

The Pursuit of Excellence
7D Manufacturing is committed to being the most excellent Dallas machine shop. Does excellence equate to perfection? What does it mean to have perfection? Perfection is defined as ‘the quality or condition of being perfect’ or ‘the state of being complete and correct in every way’. We dare to say that excellence and perfection are not the same. Excellence is not to be confused with perfection. “The pursuit of perfection is frustrating, neurotic, and a terrible waste of time” said Eating Problems for Breakfast by Tim Hansel, Word Publishing, 1988, p. 39.
What is the definition of excellence? We define excellence as ‘doing the best with what you have’ and ‘being your best version of you’. Stated another way “Excellence means being your best…Excellence means being better tomorrow than you were yesterday…Excellence means matching your practice with your potential.” Leading the Way by Paul Borthwick, Navpress, 1989, p. 64
Why do we at 7D Manufacturing strive for the pursuit of excellence? We desire to first improve ourselves personally and professionally. Our desire to improve both personally and professionally then directly influences multiple areas of our lives: Family, Work, Customers, Community, State, Nation and ultimately the entire World. The 7D Manufacturing families are directly influenced by their attitudes toward 7D Manufacturing as a place of employment, Dallas machine shop. So many times, team members dread the weekly ‘grind’ of going to a place of business that is not healthy. This dread negatively impacts their families which leads to a multitude of issues at home, resulting in broken families. By pursuing excellence at 7D Manufacturing in the workplace our team members become better fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandfathers, grandmothers, husbands and wives to their families. Influencing the family unit in a positive direction then impacts how those family members interact with others in the community, encouraging the community to make positive changes towards excellence. The positive changes also circle around influencing the 7D Manufacturing workplace, by having a healthy home life our team members then interact with each other, our customers, our suppliers, and our community in a more excellent way building bonds that last through and even grow during times of adversity. Pursuing excellence at 7D Manufacturing causes our team members to be better problem solvers due to having less distraction from an unhealthy home life, they are better equipped to focus on ideas to improve our Dallas machine shop so that we can better serve our customers.
For 7D Manufacturing customers excellence means having great communication, parts delivered on-time and quality components that will pass inspection time and time again.
